Closure of the Bowls Club

SAM_2120.JPG

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic we have closed Burgess Hill Bowls Club again. The bar will be open again after the Government restrictions have been lifted.

When the lockdown has been lifted you must adhere to the following rules.

Everyone entering the club inside and outside MUST now sign in on the sheet in the clubhouse for Track and Trace purposes. Everybody must also sign out when leaving the premises.

Do not go to the club if you are experiencing any Coronavirus (COVID-19) symptoms or any cold or flu-like symptoms, in particular a cough or a high temperature.

For your own protection, follow the advice about self isolation if you are or are living with someone in one of the vulnerable groups.

SOCIAL DISTANCING RULES MUST BE STRICTLY ADHERED TO AT ALL TIMES.

These rules will apply to everyone:

  • Nobody is to enter the clubhouse (kitchen included) or toilets without wearing a mask.  If you are not wearing a mask, you will be asked to remain outside.

  • Once inside the clubhouse, you must be seated at a table.  Only when seated, you may remove your mask.

  • It is Table Service only from the bar.  The Bar person will also be wearing a mask.

  • If you are in transit to the toilets, you must put your mask back on until you are seated back at your table.

  • Social interactions should be limited to a group of no more than 6.

If you do visit the club and forget your mask, please do not take offence if you are asked to remain outside.  We are following Government Guidelines to the best of our ability and everyone (bar persons especially) are all volunteers.  We need to keep everyone safe and well so Track and Trace is still required.
